Crossy Road

Crossy Road Updated — Watch out completists — more characters to collect

I really appreciate how Hipster Whale has continued to update Crossy Road. It’s a model for many other games in more way than one.

This update sees new characters from Monument Valley, cross-over game Shooty Skies, and Land Sliders from Prettygreat.

Need for Speed™ No Limits

Out Now: Need For Speed: No Limits

Made by the geniuses behind the Real Racing series, the Fire Monkeys, Need for Speed: No Limits is available now in the App Store and Google Play. It’s sort of the arcade racing answer to Real Racing 3 — but not nearly as arcadey as the Asphalt series from Gameloft.

And while there are endless things that annoy me about this game (energy timers, idiotic upgrades like fuses to tires, and the repetitive track), I have always loved NFS games and I find I’m drawn to this one too.

Warning that it employs all of the most annoying free to play tactics that EA has become known for.
