Upcoming Hunger Games Adventures Update Includes Retina and iPhone Support, Plus New Missions and Districts
As we approach a new year, with a new Hunger Games movie scheduled for November 2013, The Hunger Games Adventures marches on with a major content update. In the next update, the iOS port will receive support for Retina devices and iPhones/iPods, plus new missions where you’ll help Katniss and Peeta prepare for the next tournament, and party with the evil President Snow.
According to developer Funtactix, the next update will offer over 100 additional quests set in new locations like District 4. The update will also reveal the real-world location of District 1, which should be consistent with the rest of the Hunger Games canon.

We think that The Hunger Games Adventure is an enjoyable, if simple, accompaniment to the books and movies. The upcoming iOS updates and extra content sound great, but we’d also like to see the game add more sophistication to quests beyond just tapping and waiting. We can’t say when the update will be available, but Funtactix tells us it’ll be sometime “soon”.
