Touch Arcade has some handy tips and tricks for playing the word battling game Capitals, straight from the developer themselves. From the article:
One other thing to consider when playing the first moves of a game, is that you can control who connects to the other player first (and thus opens themselves up to attack on the next turn). If your opponent doesn’t reach out first, it might be smart to use as many turns as possible to build up your defenses before clashing.

The latest Temple Run-like game stars the Tomb Raider herself. Pocket Gamer weighs in on its pros and cons in their 5 out of 10 review:
Almost all of the cool things you “do” inLara Croft: Relic Run you’re not really actually doing. You’ll flip and dive and roll, leap onto planes and dive out of the way of the munching jaws of a T-Rex, but it’s pretty much all cut scenes.
And sure, it looks nice, but it fails to detract from the fact that you’re just playing another three-lane endless runner.

148Apps has taken Sword of Xolan for a swing and came away quite pleased. From their 4 out of 5 star review:
Sword of Xolan follows a similar structure to other mobile platformers from developers like Ravenous Games. It’s broken up into two different modes – Adventure and Challenge – with the former itself being broken up into three acts. And each act is made up of several platforming levels and a final boss fight. You can simply blitz through everything in a rush to the end, but stages are really meant to be replayed.
