The Room iPad Review

The Room isn’t about a room. It’s about a safe, and what’s in the safe. But once you’ve played the game, you won’t be surprised by the misdirection in the title. Nothing about The Room is what it seems, and the pervading sense of mystery is key to pulling you through from start to finish. Imperium Galactica 2 iPad Review

You know a game has a certain special something when you’ve been playing it until 5 a.m. and the only thing you’ve had to eat in hours is the bag of Skittles sitting conveniently within arm’s reach. The only things reminding you you’ve been playing too long is the low-battery warning on the iPad, and the fact that the sun is starting to rise. Avernum: Escape From the Pit HD by Spiderweb Software, is a throwback, a love letter to a time when RPGs didn’t hold your hand every step of the way, when games were more than just interactive movies and when titles like Baldur’s Gate and Fallout were kings of the hill. Azkend 2 HD – The World Beneath Review

In Azkend 2 HD – The World Beneath, you play as an explorer aboard a ship that hits some tough chop. Before you know it, you’re sucked into a typhoon and get lost. Eventually, you find yourself in a mysterious jungle, presumably buried somewhere under the sea and preserved from man and time. You begin exploring and find marvelous jungles, volcanoes, and mountains. Bugs and other animals, never before seen by man, can be found everywhere. The beautiful, mysterious world of Azkend is yours to explore and document. And did we mention this was a puzzle game? (more…)
