There's a saying that millions of people can't be wrong, and that rule tends to apply to App Store buying habits as well. For many buyers, there's no greater endorsement than the downloads of millions of other App Store gamers. We've got this week's top iPhone games, along with our reviews where applicable, to compare how our reviews match up with the marketplace.
#1: Angry Birds

Our Score: 4/4
Our Bottom Line: Destructive physics help make this a very charming puzzler, and the great level variety seals the deal.
#2: Doodle Jump

Our Score: 3/4
Our Bottom Line: Doodle Jump is a great microgame for the right price.
#3: Potty Racers

Most helpful iTunes user review: "Awsome game, I think addictinggames should put more games on the app store."
#4: SimCity

Our Score: 3/4
Our Bottom Line: This is as good a version of SimCity as one could reasonably expect for the iPhone.
#5: Fruit Ninja

Our Score: 3/4
Our Bottom Line: Next time you're waiting for a haircut, cut up some fruit while you wait. It probably did something to deserve it.
#6: Words With Friends

Most helpful iTunes user review: "Wonderful game but please update to allow us to resign even though it's not our turn."
#7: Skee-Ball

Our Score: 3/4
Our Bottom Line: Skee-Ball does just one thing really well, which makes it a good purchase for four quarters.
#8: Flight Control

Our Score: 4/4
Our Bottom Line: Flight Control added a few more maps as well as some new aircraft for a truly complete and must-have iPhone title.
#9: Bejeweled 2

Our Score: 3/4
Our Bottom Line: Bejeweled 2 is a classic Match-3 game that has proved just as addictive as its original version, though it does not have enough creativity for our top recommendation.
#10: Tetris

Most helpful iTunes user review: "Endless marathon mode, original song as an option, these things added in the next update. Who agrees with me?"

That review for tetris is what most users had in mind.. this tetris isn't really the tetris most remember... the feeling of the old-schoolness is completely gone :(
Crazy how some of these brands never die. Putting out Tetris games is like printing money.
Indeed. Even though every version is the EXACT same with different graphics, people are willing to buy it for the brand's sake
