Sega has announced they’re bringing Jet Set Radio HD to iOS and Android this summer. The game, a port of the classic Dreamcast platformer known as Jet Grind Radio in the U.S., had already been announced for PCs and consoles. Check out the iOS screenshots below.
Jet Set Radio is known for its early use of cel-shaded graphics, its roller blading platforming, and its distinctive soundtrack. The gameplay and soundtrack will remain the same as in other versions, but Sega tells us the iOS version will have Retina graphics and OpenFeint connectivity. It will also give players the ability to use your own photos as in-game graffiti.
The game will come out sometime this summer, but there’s no word yet on pricing.
