We know very little, well nothing really, about Angry Birds Fight. It’s the “very first cultural mash-up in the Angry Birds series” and it’s coming this quarter from Rovio. That’s about it. But it’s Angry Birds, so it’s worth looking out for.
The Guitar Hero franchise is resurrecting alongside the Rock Band franchise, and everything old is new again. The upcoming Guitar Hero game, called Guitar Hero Live, is particularly intriguing because the audience reacts directly to your performance – and the “full game,” which comes with its own guitar controller (the one in your closet is still obsolete – sorry), is reportedly coming to mobile, too.
Guitar Hero Live is coming this fall, and we’ll surely be hearing more information about the game and its mobile iterations as the summer rocks on.
The latest update for The Simpsons: Tapped Out includes the arrival of everyone’s favorite springy-haired convict, Sideshow Bob. There are new buildings to purchase and new quests to undergo, too. Enjoy, and if Bob gets out of hand, just throw a rake in his path.
Dragons teaming up with women is a hot new trend – as it should be. Dragon Hills, a running game, likewise features a princess and her pet dragon. According to Touch Arcade’s review, the game doesn’t break any new ground (except when the dragon literally tunnels underground), but it’s fun to play nevertheless.
Dragon Hills takes the core idea of flying a dragon, strips it down to its absolute basics, and goes wild. It’s a game that you play solely for the joy of movement. One second you’re charging along the ground, head-butting houses like they’re made of balsa wood and fairy dust, then you’re diving deep underground before you race back to the surface and glide elegantly in to the sky.
