X-Plane Helicopter has received a much-needed update, version 9.0.7, which purports to improve/ease control of the helicopters in the simulator.

We had a really hard time flying these beasts, and we’ll be looking at this update closely to see if it makes a sufficient improvement to make the program flyable.

What’s more exciting, however, was the note in the update which made reference to a yet another new version of X-Plane for the iPhone.

This version, “X-Plane EXTREME” features some of the aircraft we’ve been wating for’”the B-1 bomber, B-2 stealth bomber, SR-71 spy plane, and the F-22 fighter. What’s more, this version features a new feature’”other planes. You’ll be able to give chase to other aircraft and fly with and around them.

We’ll be keeping an eye out for X-Plane EXTREME as it becomes available.
