A video of what may be the new iPhone’s casing has appeared, 9To5Mac is reporting. The casing is notably longer than the current iPhone 4S model, but equally wide. It also matches photos that appeared last week, and lines up with The Wall Street Journal’s report that the next iPhone would have a larger display.
The casing shows a couple of other tweaks as well. The dock connector port is much smaller than on the current model, and the headphone jack has been moved from the top of the device to the bottom.
Our take? Where there’s smoke there’s fire. There have been so many rumors of a longer iPhone, probably with a larger screen, that they’re hard to ignore. For confirmation, of course, we’ll have to wait for Apple’s announcement, which should happen later this year.
What’s your take on it? Does this look like the next iPhone to you?
