Team Meat, the makers of Super Meat Boy, have spent the last few months working on a game called Mew-Genics that they’re planning release for iOS among other platforms. They’ve just posted some new details and screenshots on their blog. Check them out below.
They describe Mew-Genics as a cat game that’s like “The Sims and Pokemon with a sprinkling of Animal Crossing and a dash of Tamagotchi.” The game is based in a house full of cats, and the developer’s goal is to “make a game that feels alive, a game that creates stories as you play where consequences actually mean something.”
The blog post goes on to tell a bizarre story of something that might happen when you play the game. It contains cryogenics, a failed breeding session, narcoleptic cats, and feline AIDS. You can read it here.
We’re looking forward to Mew-Genics, even if it means we have to wait longer to play the Super Meat Boy iOS game that’s also reportedly in the works.
