Shadowgun: DeadZone Update Coming Soon

The 2.0 update for Shadowgun: DeadZone has landed on the App Store, and they’ve just released a new trailer for it. If you’ve been getting bored of the game, or haven’t tried it out in a while, here’s your excuse to check back in. Watch the trailer below.

The folks at Madfinger Games have given us details about an update that’s coming next week for their online cover-based shooter Shadowgun: DeadZone. It’s a biggie. First up, they’ve added a new tutorial to the game. Online shooters can be harsh for newbies, and they’re hoping the tutorial will help them ease into the action.

The update will contain four new maps to house the game’s Gears of War-style shooting, along with five new weapons. Daily challenges will also be added, giving players a new way to rack up currency.

They’ve also added “boosters,” which give players an edge for a limited time. For instance, one booster gives you a damage bonus, while another one turns you momentarily invisible. On the other hand, if you manage to kill another player while he or she is using a booster, you get extra gold for the kill.

If that sounds like a good time, you’ll want to keep an eye out for the Shadowgun: Deadzone update coming sometime next week.

I would love a proper followup to the first shadow gun game.

The only thing this game needs is MORE THAN THREE MAPS. I played it for several nights when it came out, and 3 maps is simply not enough. IAP did not bother me. The sickening repetition did kill the game in the end. Shame

Hows the stability? The was the main gripe I’ve been hearing about the game…the crashing.

Looking forward to it. It’s been awhile since its received an update. Really fun multiplayer game.
