The racing sim that made a lot of people take iPhone gaming seriously, Real Racing, gets a long-awaited sequel this Thursday, December 16. It’ll debut on the App Store for $9.99, and we’ve got their first official trailer below.
Firemint also announced that Real Racing 2 will have 16-player online racing, 30 licensed vehicles, and realistic vehicle damage. By the numbers, this sounds like a hugely impressive iOS racing game.
Last year, Real Racing took home our Editor’s Choice Game of the Year award, but since then we’ve seen an influx of big-budget racing sims like GT Racing: Motor Academy and Need for Speed Shift. Can Firemint still compete? For more information, check out the Firemint’s official webpage here.
