Back in January we announced that the Phoenix Wright trilogy was coming to iOS in Japan. Now Capcom has officiallly announced that it’s coming to the U.S. this fall.
The app will be called Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD, and will include the first three games in the trilogy: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice for All, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations. All three games are being remastered from their Nintendo DS incarnations.
While pricing details haven’t been released yet, we know that the app will be free to download, and come with the first two chapters of the first game. The full games will be available to download via in-app purchase either separately or in a bundle.
The game will also come with an “Everyone Object” mode that, according to Capcom, will:
[H]elp players communicate their displeasure of everyday situations with the help of popular Ace Attorney characters and sayings. With a simple touch of a button, the phrases, “Objection!”, “Hold it!”, and “Take that!” can be emailed to friends or tweeted along with an animated image.
