Padvance Report: Glasses-Free 3D, Knight’s Defense, and Blogsy

In this week’s Padvance Report, we have a blogging solution, a twist on a classic board game, and emergent technology on the iPad. Come and catch up on a few of this week’s best stories and more at Padvance!

Head Tracking Arrives on the iPad

If you’re not familiar with head tracking, it’s a process that allows you to experience glasses-free 3D by pinpointing where you are via sensors, and adjusting the screen accordingly. Similar technology has been demonstrated on the Nintendo Wii, but now a much easier solution is here involving the iPad’s front-facing camera. Looking awesome!

Knight Defense HD Review

Knight Defense combines two of my favorite things: tower defense and chess. It’s a ridiculously tough and strategic little title that will keep you on edge as you rabidly move horses and rooks across the board. Unless you hate chess, I can’t think of a single reason not to read our review and give it a try.
