New Details Emerge About Plants Vs. Zombies 2

Yesterday we reported that Plants Vs. Zombies 2: It’s About Time will be a free-to-play game, and will hit the App Store on July 18. In their next print issue, Edge Magazine will have an exclusive hands-on preview of the game, but they’ve just posted some juicy details on their website.

Some of the details that caught our eye are that the game takes about 15 hours to complete, it has loads of challenges and trial levels built right into the world map, and the freemium aspects won’t be too in-your-face. For more information, head over to Edge Online.

  1. Awesome, this is extremely reassuring and I’m sure the game will be fine. They specifically mention say it’s not *that* kind of free-to-play, and that it’s a PopCap game, not an EA game. Maybe people will start breathing again now…

    • I won’t breathe till I play it and see the FTP for myself but I do feel much better than I did about the game.
