And now from the Not So Awesome News Department… EA Mobile’s pushing back Need For Speed Undercover until early March. Bogus!

Here’s what our contact said in an email:

“We haven’t heard a final date from Apple yet, but EA plans to launch in early March. EA wants to make sure the game is as polished as possible before release.”

This is a big, big, big game for EA Mobile, so we can understand the need to make sure it comes off without a hitch… but now the game will be coming out a full four months after the console releases. So much for co-marketing.

Incidentally, we still have HD video of the game, but EA Mobile has asked us to hold onto it until they give us the go-ahead or the game appears on the App Store. Now that we know about the delay, we’ll ask for permission to post it again.
