Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes is Coming to iOS

Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes is heading to the iPhone and iPad, and we have a trailer to prove it. Check it out below.

Clash of Heroes is a turn-based strategy game developed by Capybara Games, who you probably know best as the makers of Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery. The game takes place in a war-torn fantasy world of humans, elves, and demons. You get a chance to play as all of the factions as you progress through the 20 hour campaign.

Originally developed for Nintendo DS in 2010, Clash of Heroes was ported to Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network last year with an HD facelift. The HD version appears to be the one that’s coming to iOS, rather than the more pixelated DS original.

On a personal note, I’ve been playing the DS version of this game for the past few weeks and loving every second of it. It’s the kind of deep strategy game that’s easy to obsess over, with chess-like gameplay and loads of variables to take into account before making each move. On the DS it’s possible to play the game entirely using the touchscreen, so it will likely work well on iPhone and iPad.

According to the trailer below, the game is “coming soon.” How soon, we don’t know, but we’ll keep you updated as we hear more.
