‘Man of Steel’ Mobile Game Trailer Released

It’s almost as if every summer blockbuster is getting a mobile game this year. We have After Earth, Pacific Rim, World War Z, and now comes Man of Steel, a game based on the upcoming movie of the same name. Both the game and the movie will be released on June 14. The game will cost $2.99 on iPhone and $4.99 on iPad. Watch the trailer below.

The game is being made by Phosphor Games (the makers of Horn and World War Z) and WB Games (the company behind the very good Batman Arkham Lockdown, LEGO Batman: DC Super Heroes, and Injustice: Gods Among Us). Based on the trailer, the graphics look kind of rough, and the gameplay seems to hinge around one-on-one fist fights. Whether this game is perfectly fun, or whether it seems rushed like many movie tie-ins, we’ll have to wait and see.

I hate to say it, but after dark knight and spiderman is love for gameloft to do an open world superman.

Out of the games listed above, the only game I think is even worth playing all the way through is Lego Batman…the game pretty much surprised me, didn’t really think I’d love it as much. Horn got stale pretty quickly and World War Z is mediocre, especially due to the melee combat. Not really too sure about another Phosphor games title to buy, but does look kinda interesting.

Graphics look really terrible but gameplay looks nice
