Gravity Guy

Gravity Guy puts you in the space boots of a man on the run in a world filled with obstacles. The chief gimmick here is that you can flip gravity at any time, so you can run on the floor or ceiling just by tapping the screen. The game gets tough quickly, so grab this one if you’re up for a challenge.

Our Score: 3 out of 4

Our Bottom Line: Run, run! Or you’ll be well-done!

Hungry Shark – Part 3

Hungry Shark lives a simple life of exploration and carnivorous dining. All you do in this sequel (and knowledge of the previous installments is unnecessary) is swim around the enormous ocean, avoiding mines and harmful fish, and devouring anything that looks tasty. Collectible trash like old toilet seats are scattered throughout the ocean for you to find, but the game’s fun comes from poking around in every nook and cranny you find. Considering its terrifying subject matter, Hungry Shark offers a surprisingly low-stress experience.

Our Score: 3 out of 4

Our Bottom Line: Hungry Shark – Part 3 is just as fun as the previous installments, but it’s not as fresh.

Reckless Getaway

Reckless Getaway puts you in the driver’s seat of a getaway car after you’ve committed a robbery. Your job is to dodge traffic, avoid cops, do tricks, and pick up coins and power-ups as you make your great escape. The game is full of zany chaos and replayability, so if you haven’t yet, download this one right away.

Our Score: 4 out of 4

Our Bottom Line: Reckless Getaway is top-down driving mayhem at its finest.

To-Fu 2

The stretchy cube of soy is back for more in this Super Meat Boy-inspired sequel. Using a stretch-and-fling mechanic, you can help To-Fu navigate treacherous levels filled with saw blades, spikes, and lasers, as he makes his way to a beautiful pink fortune cookie in each level.

Our Score: 3 out of 4

Our Bottom Line: To-Fu 2 is a fun game, but we wish the developers had added more gameplay mechanics. It feels more like To-Fu 1.5.
