Fez Port on iOS is “Highly Probable”

In a Reddit Ask Me Anything session yesterday, developer Phil Fish said that an iOS port of the side-scrolling platformer Fez is “highly probable.” Fez, which originally came out for Xbox 360, is also heading to most other platforms, including PC, Mac, PlayStation Network, Vita, and probably OUYA.

The game is played like a standard side-scrolling platformer, but you can “turn” the world to explore the other dimensions. For instance, you can see all the sides of a building just by turning the world four times. It sounds more complicated than it is, but it’s easy to grasp when you start playing. In addition, the game is full of strange symbols and mind-bending puzzles to figure out if you’re looking for a challenge.

We had a lot of fun withe Fez on Xbox 360, and hope the “highly probable” port becomes a reality sooner rather than later. For more information, check out the Fish’s full AmA here.

  1. I hope this happens SO bad. Fez was easily my favorite game of 2012. Me and like 5 of my friends would sitting around in a room eating snacks and writing on sheets of graph paper. This game is SO SO SO SO good.
