The original plan was to release Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition for iPad alongside its release on other platforms. That would have put it out tomorrow, November 28. Unfortunately, according to the game’s creative director Trent Oster, they’ve run into a problem that will delay the iOS release. We have details and a new trailer below.
Mr. Oster took to Twitter to announce that a crashing bug had prevented the game from making it through Apple’s approval process. They’ve fixed the bug and resubmitted the game, but that means they have to wait through the approval queue again. Mr. Oster predicts that Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition will arrive on the App Store next week.
