2013 Unity Awards Honor The Best Games and Apps Using Unity

At the Unite 2013 conference in Vancouver, a professional gathering for developers using the 3D engine Unity, the Unity Awards recognized this year’s outstanding efforts in visual and gameplay design. Most of the games are only available on PC or Mac OS, but two of them are well-known iOS games: The Room and Year Walk.

The Room, this year’s Unity Award winner for Best Gameplay.

The PC games Endless Space and Guns of Icarus Online won for Community Choice and Best 3D Artistic Experience, respectively. On the mobile side, The Room won for Best Gameplay, and Year Walk for Best 2D Artistic Experience. Here’s the full list of this year’s winners:

Community Choice – Endless Space
Best Student Project – SmartVCS
Technical Achievement – Marmoset Skyshop
Best 3D Artistic Experience – Guns of Icarus Online
Best 2D Artistic Experience – Year Walk
Best Gameplay – The Room
Best VizSim Project – teamLabBody
Best Non-game Project – Become Iron Man
Golden Cube – Endless Space
