Touch Arcade has first hands on with the new game from Flappy Bird creator Dong Nguyen called Swing Copters. The game looks similar to Flappy Bird, but in this one your copter is rising up as far as possible. Difficult and crazy. It will be really interesting to watch the reaction to this one — out this week on August 21st.

Good news, Pokéfans: it’s been confirmed that Pokémon Trading Card Game Online is coming to iPad later this year. The news first broke when YouTuber Josh Wittenkeller tweeted a photo of the game playing on an iPad. The game was then shown to some attendees of the Pokémon World Championship over the weekend. The noted game designer Peter Molyneux (of Populous, Black & White, and Fable fame) has just dropped another joint on the App Store. It’s a free-to-play game called Godus, in which you play as the Lord of All Creation. The game comes from Molyneux’s 22cans development team with an assist from DeNA. If your current iPhone is starting to feel a little small or sluggish, you’ll be pleased to hear that Apple is planning to hold an iPhone event on September 9, where they’ll reveal two new models of iPhone, one with a spacious 4.7-inch screen, and an even bigger “phablet”-sized one with a 5.5-inch screen.
