Flappy Bird creator Dong Nguyen has confirmed on Twitter that he will bring back the popular, hyper-challenging game to the App Store at some point–”But not soon.” The game, which saw soaring popularity in January and reportedly earned Nguyen up to $50,000 per day, also brought a lot of unwanted publicity to the developer and “ruined” his simple life. Rovio has released a new trailer for Angry Birds Epic, their upcoming turn-based RPG. The trailer shows off the game’s combat, which features standard Final Fantasy-style battles, but between birds and pigs. Angry Birds Epic soft launched in Australia, New Zealand, and Canada today (if you have an account in any of those countries, you can download it here). It will hit the rest of the world once Rovio decides the game is ready for prime time.
