Ire: Blood Memory is an action RPG that offers a pretty hardcore challenge, despite being free-to-play. Touch Arcade’s review praises it highly for its depth of content and gratifying battle system.
While there are issues with the menus, guides, and the occasional technical hiccups, this game is definitely a refreshing addition to the App Store and a game made for those who would call themselves “hardcore gamers.”

Prune is one of the prettiest games I’ve seen in a while. It’s a very zen puzzle game where trees must be pruned to allow them to grow into the sunlight where they can bloom. If you liked Zen Bound or Monument Valley, keep an eye out for this one, it’s coming soon.
Boshi is a game about being a man and cutting wood (like a man). It’s also a game about survival, since hungry wolves are patrolling the frozen lands of the north. Give it a try yourself; it’s currently free, down from its usual price of $0.99 USD.
