Sega warned us that a massive cull of its mobile games was coming, and Judgement Day has arrived. A significant chunk of its games are gone, including old Genesis ports like Altered Beast, as well as newer titles like Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2. The dead games reportedly no longer meet Sega’s standards for quality.
Sega promises that current customers will be able to re-download purchased games. And of the newly delisted apps, it says “while we have nothing to announce at this time, given the right situation, these titles may return in an updated form”.

There are some great hidden object games up for grabs lately at rock-bottom prices. If you can handle one more, consider getting Special Enquiry Detail: The Hand that Feeds. It’s currently free, and it usually goes for $4.99 USD.
It seems as if Aspyr is bringing Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords to mobile platforms. That’s if this ESRB rating is anything to go by. From Touch Arcade:
KOTOR 2 wasn’t made by BioWare as the original was, instead it was made by Obsidian Entertainment. There’s not as high a reputation due to the game being rushed into completion, which hurt its reviews as there was a lot of cut content and plenty of bugs, but the latter could certainly be fixed with cleaned-up ports to new platforms. And at worst, more KOTOR is not a bad thing. Plus, even at a $9.99 price point like the first KOTOR was, the cost-per-hour with this game is absurd. The original holds up really well, so get excited for this.
