Clumsy Bob Review

Clumsy Bob is proportionally wrong. In Bob’s world, this elephant can swiftly bounce on clouds, and rats effortlessly swallow him whole. But really, Bob isn’t even all that clumsy. He’s just boring.

Clumsy Bob is basically Doodle Jump gone horizontal. It has all the elements you’ve come to expect from an endless high-score game, including disappearing platforms, springs, and rocket packs. Collecting coins along the way racks up points, and you’ll want to avoid the rats and other baddies.

The biggest downside to Clumsy Bob is that the difficulty never ramps up. Instead, it remains easy throughout. With so many platforms, it’s actually hard to miss them. Most of our deaths were due to being eaten while using the umbrella power-up, which makes Bob slowly float downward. In other words, we got bored with Clumsy Bob very quickly.

One false move, and you bite it.

There are a few saving graces for Clumsy Bob, although neither make it worth our recommendation. This game is undeniably cute, and you can challenge Crystal friends to top your high score.

Clumsy Bob simply isn’t challenging enough to recommend to anyone. At best, this is a game young kids may enjoy, but more serious gamers should let Bob bounce among the clouds in solitude.
