Angry Birds 2: Tips, Cheats, and Secrets

After buckling down for the review, Pocket Gamer has resurfaced with some helpful hints for anyone looking to maximize their gameplay in Angry Birds 2. From the article:

Angry Birds 2 is not your average Angry Birds game. We’d normally provide video guides that show you how to finish every level in the game. But for this installment, most of the stages are randomly generated. So! If you want to get better at Angry Birds 2, a traditional guide won’t help you. You can’t learn the levels – you must learn the game. You must master the way of the bird. And that’s what we’re here for.

Check out these tips to save money, beat the piggies, and generally be a brilliant human being.

Angry Birds 2 Review: Rovio at Its Best, but Freemium-ized

Angry Birds 2 is out in the wild now, and it’s a very good game. Now if only it didn’t have all those pesky free-to-play trappings… From Pocket Gamer’s 7/10 review:

Angry Birds 2 isn’t perfect, but it does manage to capture that elastic playfulness that made the original such an essential download. Does it earn its place as the first numerical sequel? It’s hard to say, and it all depends how you like your energy systems. But one thing’s for sure, in terms of scope, creativity, and sheer quality, the game underneath the hearts and currencies is Rovio the developer at its best.

To-Fu Fury Review: Boring Food, Fun Game

We’re big fans of the To-Fu series, and the latest entry looks like it delivers more of the goods. From 148Apps’s 3.5 out of 5 star review:

To-Fu Fury does a fairly good job of gradually introducing all these elements, so it’s not too tough early on, but it soon gets there. Each level offers a series of objectives too in the form of a timer, par number of moves, and a gem tracker, each rewarding you for doing things most efficiently. That’s whenTo-Fu Fury gets quite tricky, as simply passing a stage isn’t too hard. It’s also where things turn more rewarding and To-Fu Fury soon turns quite appealing. You’ll end up playing stages multiple times, but still feel like you’re progressing, given you have different aims each time. The most satisfying moments are when you finish a level having used just one more, but that’s often the trickiest technique.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 Review: “absolutely haunting” atmosphere

The latest scare-fest in this series about killer animatronics is yet another winner, from the sounds of it, as long as you can hear the game’s audio clearly. From Gamezebo’s 4 out of 5 star review:

Unlike past games, there are no security cameras to monitor in Five Nights at Freddy’s 4. Instead, you play as a scared child who must run between his doors, closet, and bed constantly to keep monstrous versions of the animatronics at bay (seriously – Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Freddy are particularly terrifying this time around).

Warhammer: Arcane Magic Review – “will keep players engaged”

Do you dig Warhammer and/or strategy games but want to make sure the new one is worth $9.99? It looks like it is. From Pocket Gamer’s 8/10 review:

Warhammer: Arcane Magic is an eminently playable distillation of some of the aspects that make the tabletop game so impressive. But rather than investing hours in building a force and engaging in enormous terrain-traversing battles, here you’re tackling bite-sized magical skirmishes. There’s a resolute fizz to proceedings, and a tactical hum that will keep most players engaged for a good long while.

‘Kingdom Clicker’ Review: Provides a “short period of obsession”

If you’ve ever gotten far more sucked into a clicker RPG than you probably should have, you’ll want to take a peek at Kingdom Clicker, a game that holds a mysterious sway over a certain type of player. From 148Apps’s 3.5/5 review:

Eventually, the sheen will fade from Kingdom Clicker and you’ll want something with more depth, but as a part of this strangely addictive genre, it succeeds pretty well. It makes a pleasant change from the usual auto RPG style and there’s always something new to work towards.
