Mike Capps, the president of Epic Games, took the stage this morning at Apple’s press event to announce Project Sword, Epic’s first title for iOS. Project Sword will be an action RPG that runs on the Unreal Engine, which powers loads of games across a number of consoles, including Epic’s Gears of War series.
Project Sword will also use Apple’s GameCenter to connect you to your buddies and to deliver one-on-one sword fighting challenges. We don’t have many details about the rest of the game now, but the graphics look phenomenal, and we’re excited to get our hands on it. Project Sword will be available for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad this holiday season.
