Gun Bros redefined freemium gaming on the App Store. Before that, most free-to-play games were boring old farming sims, but Gun Bros was action-packed, with a dual-stick shooter interface. Need for Speed: Most Wanted Hands-On Preview

Earlier today, we were able to check out the progress of Need For Speed: Most Wanted, the newest mobile racer from EA. Much like its traditional console brethren, this iOS racer returns to the premise that has you avoiding the cops while beating out your rivals. Arcane Legends Hands-On Preview

Spacetime Studios has the mother of all comeback stories. The MMO developer has faced certain death numerous times in the past decade, as PC publishers looking for big-budget games came and went. But on iOS, they’ve found a winning formula: Three MMORPGs, all of which are free-to-play, that have earned millions of downloads and a fan base that can’t stop playing. Microsoft Announces SmartGlass App

At their E3 press conference today, Microsoft announced an app called SmartGlass that will allow you to use your smartphone or tablet in conjunction with an Xbox 360. They showed a number of different uses for the app, including letting gamers use a device as a second screen as they play a game on the Xbox 360.
