First Details Emerge on Dexter: The (iPhone) Game

Kotaku has the first look at Dexter: The Game, which is based on the Showtime series of the same name. Michael C. Hall stars as Dexter Morgan, a Miami crimescene analyst who moonlights as a very peculiar serial killer–he only kills people who deserve it.

The game is currently under development at Icarus Studios, with Marc Ecko Entertainment doing the publishing honors. It looks like it’s shaping up to be a very, very dark first-person investigative adventure. According to the press release, “Dexter must analyze crime scenes to gather information on troublesome cases. After assessing the evidence, you must choose whether or not to turn the suspect over to the court system… or inflict Dexter’s special kind of justice.” We assume they’re not referring to a hefty fine, banishment, or a turbo-wedgie…

There’s no word yet on when Dexter: The Game is coming to the App Store. We’ll post more details on this game as soon as they become available.
