While we work on our review, here's some of our hands-on footage of Rolando 2. Just watching these roly-polys in action is fun! Check it out after the jump.

STP's E3/WWDC Special!
We went to E3 and WWDC in June to preview dozens of upcoming iPhone games. Here's a little video featuring 10 of the best, complete with voiceover!
Fuel Games WWDC Roundup: Lifeboat, Desktop Tower Defense!
We met up with Fuel Games, developers of Vans SK8: Pool Service, at WWDC to hear about their upcoming games. We got our hands on the action-puzzler Lifeboat, and also learned about Fuel's iPhone port of Desktop Tower Defense. Details and video within!
Freeverse WWDC Roundup: Flick Baseball, Trackz, Warpgate, Grunts!
We sat down with a representative from Freeverse to check out the publisher's upcoming lineup. We saw Flick Baseball, the newest game in the Flick Sports collection; Trackz, an app for model train enthusiasts; Warpgate, a very cool-looking space trading game; and Warpack: Grunts, an intriguing top-down shooter. Details and video after the jump!
Updated: id's John Carmack Talks Doom Resurrection
We've just received a trailer from id Software for Doom Resurrection, and posted it at the end of the article.
I-Play's Summer Lineup: Pool, Jewels, Weddings, and Blenders
We've never seen such a strange lineup in one demo before. On iPhone, I-Play has something coming for the sports fan (Pool Star featuring Earl Strickland), casual gamer (Jewel Quest Deluxe), wedding-obsessed (Dream Day Wedding), and even disgruntled workers (Blend the Boss).
WWDC Quick Hits: Face Fighter, Blimp
We're obviously seeing lots of upcoming games here at WWDC, but we've also seen a couple just-released apps from indie devs that bear mentioning: Appy Entertainment's FaceFighter and Craneballs Studios's Blimp - The Flying Adventure.
Rejected iPhone 3GS Logos Revealed
Perhaps Steve Jobs isn't keeping such a tight grip on things at Apple these days. Our dumpster-diving sources were able to uncover documents that show some of the rejected logos for the new iPhone 3GS.
Saga Catapult Hands-On
Utah-based developer Silverlode is entering the iPhone arena this summer with two games based on their PC MMORTS, Saga. The first, Saga Catapult, is an action-based tower defense game that is centered on the concept of beaming orcs in the brain with a heavy hunk of rock.
STP Interview: Gameloft's Michel Guillemot
Gameloft rates as one of the top publishers on the App Store along practically every metric. The Paris-based firm has dozens of iPhone titles on sale--which have produced beaucoup bucks for its bottom line--and many of its games have been hits with the critics as well, such as Terminator Salvation and Siberian Strike.
Gameloft produces games for many other casual platforms as well (including feature phones, Android, the Nintendo DSi, and Xbox Live Arcade, to name a few), but the iPhone seems to be one of its most important outlets. We sat down with Gameloft's President and CEO, Michel Guillemot, to learn about the company's reaction to Apple's WWDC announcements, as well as its ongoing plans for the platform.
iMech Hands-On
In iMech, robot fighting feels much more substantial than in other games we've played recently. These chunky chassis have a heavy gait, and their weapons are slow to charge and discharge, but the satisfaction of blowing a real live opponent to smoldering rubble with a giant frickin' laser beam is incredible.
Ngmoco's FPS Codename
We recently got our hands on Ngmoco's currently untitled first person shooter, codenamed "LiveFire", at this year's WWDC. LiveFire (the actual name should be announced very soon) handles a lot like Quake 3 or Unreal Tournament, but this iPhone shooter is unique in that it is played exclusively online, with no bot matches or single player campaign.
iPhone 3GS Announced, OS 3.0 Available June 17
Big news today from the iPhone mothership at Apple: A New iPhone, an imminent software update, and a price break on current hardware bode well for the future of the platform.
The keynote at Apple's annual World Wide Developer Conference was where the iPhone 3G was announced last year, and this year Phil Schiller announced a new iPhone 3G, the iPhone 3GS.

Friday Slide: It's Showtime!
For games journalists, E3 is the ultimate professional test--kind of a cross between the bar exam and the Normandy Invasion. It's all on the line. You prove that you have the best connections, cover the most games, write the best previews, take the best videos... or you get beat. And all of this happens in a literal madhouse.
