1112 episode 01 Review

Yesterday — by:

1112: Episode 1: Episode 1 is a first-person adventure game with an unusual art-house feel. It doesn't play like most other adventure games we've seen; in fact, if you pressed us, we might call it a "tapping detective game," since you tap around the screen so often.

Updated: Bugdom 2 Review

January 2nd, 2009 — by:

The latest update to Bugdom 2 is a quantum leap forward, due to the inclusion of a touch d-pad. We think this is a big improvement over the old tilt controls (which are still selectable, if you're a masochist), and it makes the game far more enjoyable.

December 31st, 2008 — by:

We admit, we were dubious when we purchased Saturday Night Fever: Dance! A dance game? For our iDevice? Would it be accelerometer controlled? What if they tried to make a story out of it? The horror!

X-Plane-Helicopter Review

December 31st, 2008 — by:

X-Plane whet our appetite for flight simulators on the iPhone, with an impressive showing of accuracy in simulation, coupled with first-rate graphics. The feeling of flight that the sim provided was impressive, but the limited choices available in terms of planes to fly and places to fly them disappointed us. Laminar Research, the developer behind X-Plane, has set out to address that situation with two new releases: X-Plane-Airliner and X-Plane-Helicopter. We'll look at both titles, starting with X-Plane-Helicopter.
