In recent updates, Doodle Bomb has made a couple of great improvements. One of these is the inclusion of OpenFeint, which adds online leaderboards and achievements. The developer also recently added 15 new master levels, which include an anti-gravity gameplay mechanic. This works well with the current gameplay and makes for some interesting challenges.

Military Madness: Neo Nectaris Review
Back when Hudson Soft was still an independent videogame publisher and not just a subsidiary of Konami, they put out a game on the TurboGrafx-16 called Military Madness, or in some parts of the world, Nectaris. Along with the Advance Wars predecessor Famicom Wars, Military Madness was an early example of a great console turn-based strategy game. However, while Nintendo’s franchise flourished, Hudson’s went somewhat dormant. Now, Military Madness is back on several platforms, including the iPhone. But has its time passed?
De Blob Revolution Review
In his previous iPhone adventure, De Blob colored his city and saved the population from the color-hating INKT Corporation. But that was only the beginning. In Revolution, everybody’s favorite superhero blob is infiltrating INKT’s color-erasing factories to save his fellow city dwellers. While the sequel doesn’t retain the “open-area” feel of the original, the randomly generated puzzles found here offer great entertainment.
How to Train Your Dragon: Flight of the Night Fury Review
If you're into mythical creatures and can't wait for the upcoming film How to Train Your Dragon, then fly on over to the App Store and grab up the iPhone game tie-in. Developed by Glu, this is basically a re-skin Glyder and Glyder 2, which, if the reviews of those are any indication, is not a bad thing. But before you click "buy," be warned that How to Train Your Dragon dispenses with certain videogame conventions like diversity of gameplay and any sense of challenge at all.
Fly Kiwi, Fly Review
A kiwi is a flightless bird native to New Zealand. The average kiwi is about the size of a chicken, mates for life, and dreams endlessly about soaring to the final frontier. Okay, if you present Fly Kiwi, Fly! as scientific fact in your biology class, you're going to end up in summer school. Just sit back and enjoy the game for what it is: A goofy side-scrolling flight game for the iPhone and iPod Touch that's full of fun, personality, and the power of love and dreams.
Thumpies Review
Some games bring unexpected amounts of lovable charm. You might not like Thumpies at first due to its creepy bouncing heads, but once you start playing, it's nearly impossible to put it down. Varied, original music and plenty of unlockables have these thumpies bouncing their way right to the top.
Devil Invasion Review
The end is nigh! Horrible, unspeakable devils have risen from the depths to lay waste to our cities. As you draw your bow or start to mumble a fireball spell, you might pause for a moment, because these devils are downright adorable-- they look more like a line of plush dolls than the end of the world. It’s hard to have to fight back when they disarm you so effectively with their cuteness.
Radio Flare Redux Review
After the first Radio Flare launched, we immediately found ourselves hooked to its addicting music-themed gameplay. The way the enemy explosions synced perfectly with the beat was an incredible experience and one we have continued to go back to. Unfortunately, the sequel lags behind in the beat department, but it does do a lot of other things right to justify a purchase.
Mike V: Do or Die Skateboarding
Mike V: Do or Die Skateboarding makes us wonder if the iPhone's game makers are just a little too ambitious. Many of the best games in the App Store are simple, but so many studios seem to be trying to make the next Civilization, Halo, or in this case, Tony Hawk, on Apple's limited device. Mike V: Do or Die Skateboarding is a game that has all the flash to satisfy its skating demographic, but it lacks a good skating experience at its core.
Maestro Green Groove Review
In a distant jungle resides an undiscovered species of vibrantly colored music-making birds. These lovable orchestrators play their tunes by running along wires, collecting fruits, mashing spiders, and singing. As a music maestro, you must help your pink bird perform its tune by completing these tasks. There are some issues, but we had lots of fun with Maestro Green Groove.
Critical Wave Review
Have you ever been sitting there in geometry class, bored, wishing you could use an array of weaponry to destroy every shape on the chalkboard? If so, Critical Wave has you covered. Like Meteor Blitz, this game wallops you with wave after wave of heat-seeking enemies in a way that would be overwhelming, if not for the flawless controls built in to help you take them on.
Ragdoll Blaster 2 Review
When it comes to object-launching physics games, Ragdoll Blaster is the cream of the crop. In this sequel, Backflip Studios improved the fantastic original in many ways, making Ragdoll Blaster 2 the best of its kind on the App Store.
Battle of Puppets Review
We really should come up with a clever name for this emerging strategy sub-genre. If you have ever played Cartoon Wars, Ancient War or any other 2D side-scrolling RTS, then you’ll feel right at home with Battle of Puppets. However, while Small Wonders’ newest title may not win you over with its originality, its abundance of charm and adorable atmosphere will.
Tilt to Live Review
Are you a master of avoidance? If someone asks you to do some household chores, do you run and hide on the roof? While you’re up there, you can work on your avoidance skills even more by playing Tilt To Live, a game where you use the iPhone or iPod Touch’s tilt controls to keep an arrow-shaped cursor away from deadly red dots for as long as possible.
Astro Ranch Review
In real life, working on a farm can be a drag, especially when it involves feeding animals and weeding plants. But what if you took your tools to new, intergalactic pastures full of cranky aliens, colorful environments, and spickens? As shown by Astro Ranch, it is definitely an improvement.
Updated: Jet Car Stunts Review
Jet Car Stunts' recent 1.3 update brings with it OpenFeint Gold, the social network's mark of approval that recognizes what they feel are the best offerings on the App Store. True Axis worked with OpenFeint to bring some new online functionality to the game as well: downloadable replay videos and ghost racing.
Giana Sisters Review
If you love Super Mario Bros. but have always found it just a bit too masculine, then your dreams are about to come true. Giana Sisters gives you all the brick-breaking, fire-throwing, flag-reaching action you could want, and it wraps it up in a tidy feminine package.
Cheap Shot: Dizzypad
Ever since Frogger hit arcades back in 1981, videogame frogs have all had to face incredible obstacles whenever moving from one place to another. In Dizzypad from Nimblebit, not even their lily pad-filled pond is a safe haven for these unfortunate amphibians. However, what may be an arduous quest for frogs ends up being an entertaining distraction for gamers.
Updated: Project 72 Review
In recent updates, Project 72 has transformed from a very simple casual title to a strategic survival dodger. New obstacles, such as "Zliders" from the developer's other game, further optimization, and better progression balancing improve the experience in large ways.
