    Device 6

While I didn’t enjoy Simogo’s last release as much as many of you, I’m plenty excited to experience their next game, an ambitious puzzle/mystery/novella set on a mysterious island.

    Indigo Lake

We haven’t seen nearly enough horror games this October, but Indigo Lake means to change that. This is a paranormal shooter/psychological horror game based around a bunch of suicides that have taken place at the titular locale. Is it any good? We’ll have to wait and see.

    Mega Dead Pixel

This looks like a pretty basic game of avoiding stuff while you fall, but the pixel art hits the right note, and Chillingo rarely lets us down.

    Mimpi

Mimpi is a puzzle platformer starring a lovable pup looking for his owner. It has a great art style, and the story is told without words.

    Paint it Back

This game has a story about art being stolen from a museum, but all you need to know is that this game comes with 140 Picross puzzles. That means you use the numbers to fill in the grid and make a picture. It might sound boring to the uninitiated, but Picross is highly entertaining.

    Rabbids Big Bang

In this Rabbid game, you whack one of these odd little creatures into outer space, and control using a jetpack and by hooking into the gravitational pull of planets as you pass by. With 150 missions and a bunch of ways to customize your critters, you won’t run out of content for a while.
