The first trailer for Aralon: Sword and Shadow has hit the Internet, and it’s a beauty. Aralon is an upcoming 3D RPG from the makers of Ravensword: The Fallen King and Rimelands: Hammer of Thor. Since those successful RPGs will be the basis of comparison, Aralon has a lot to live up to. But from the looks of it, it just might succeed.
The trailer and screenshots come from the iPad version of the game, so that explains the shrunken user interface. The developer has noted that you’ll also be able to double-tap where you want your character to go, so you won’t have to rely on the D-pad if you don’t want to. Like Oblivion, you’ll also be able to play the game from either a first-person or third-person perspective.
